Awesome YouTube Channel for Off Grid Inspiration: Acorn Land Labs

They show how, why, and how much it costs

This channel is GREAT for 3 reasons:

1. They show ways to be more self-sufficient by harnessing nature with technology

2. They show how to videos and results

3. Their videos are edited in a way that makes the information digestible

My favorite videos so far are:

• Installing composting toilet - I will use these in my cabins/ outhouses

• Circular Systems and Creating fertilizer and cooking fuel from water and poop

• Off-Grid in 30 days for under $25,000

My Thoughts

These are 3 young guns and it’s awesome to see them making videos around this very important topic: self-reliance.

For a single man, or even a couple, this sort of lifestyle is VERY doable. I don’t know if any of them have kids, but from my perspective, as a father, I am personally focusing on a these items below:

• Community Building - small, reliable supply chain

• Acquiring Meat - hunting, fishing, livestock

• Making Money - They mention Worm towers and I’m totalling doing this

• Education - Homeschool
